Math: This week we continued Unit 6, on measurement and decimal multiplication and division.  This week we continued working on dividing decimals.

Reading:  This week students continued to create a book jacket for their guided reading group books. 

Writing: In writing, we began our next persuasive writing unit.  For this unit, students will complete a research project and present their findings in a PowerPoint.  This week we studied example persuasive speeches. 

Science: This week we are continuing to prepare our students for the March science fair at Logan Elementary School.  This week students worked on their final display boards that will be shown at the science fair.  Students will have to complete any unfinished work at home.

Social Studies: This week we continued our unit on events that led up to the American Revolution.  This week we learned about the sugar and stamp acts as well as the Boston Massacre.
